Pulsed Electromagnetic Field (PEMF) Therapy

The safety of our clients/patients and our staff is our primary concern.   Screening and process has been put in place.  In compliance with all our professional colleges and the Ministry of Health for in person appointments.

We will ask you to:

• Read and review Covid information signage at the centre prior to entering, to ensure safety of our staff and yours.
• Be screened at the reception desk prior to your appointment.
• Sanitize your hands and asked to wear a mask if you do not already have one.

To limit exposure, we have accommodated our waiting room for social distancing of 2 metres.

There will be sanitizing process before and after each appointment in rooms and commonly used surfaces. We will require 5 minutes between appointments to allow proper time to clean the premises.

Each room will have hooks for bags and keys to help limit the possibility of contamination.

Each room will have hand sanitizer, germicidal disposable cloth, surface & upholstery sanitizers.

You will be asked to fill out a healthcare intake form.  Based on the information you provide us, the Practitioner will the therapy program that best suits your needs.  You will be led to our treatment room where you will lie fully clothed on a comfortable table with a soft pillow.   A treatment will last between 36-55 minutes, and you will feel very relaxed.  Many clients will often fall asleep or will feel tingling in areas of the body that require healing.   This therapy is not painful in any way.   PEMF works optimally if you are well hydrated therefore, we recommend that you drink plenty of water before and after each treatment.

PEMF Therapy is a natural and safe therapy for individuals of all ages, including children, the elderly and even pets.  They are no negative side effects to PEMF use.   You may experience some tingling sensation, heat/warm feeling, spasm/twitching, numbness, or nothing at all, but these are not unusual and short term.

It is not recommended for people suffering from Epilepsy, have a pacemaker or certain heart conditions and are pregnant.

The frequency and length vary based on the individual, the nature of the concern, how long have they had the condition(s), are they acute or chronic will determine the course of action.   There are immediate benefits that people typically experience, such as a muscle relaxant effect and better sleep.

Typically, when we start PEMF Therapy, we recommend 2-3 times/week for the first 2-3 weeks.

Approximately 1 hour, it is a 2-tier approach, we usually start by treating the main concern, the program used would be approximately 36 minutes long.  A secondary program of 18 minutes is usually administered right after to complement or address a different concern.

I have used numerous PEMF devices in the past such as IMRS, MAS, Centurion and I have chosen to use Seqex ICR PEMF medical device because I believe it is the most advanced unit on the market.  It utilizes 30 different wave forms vs other PEMF devices uses one or two wave forms.  Seqex is the only device that can perform personalized testing/biofeedback impedance testing.  Each program has 9 sequences and over 50 different programs available.  Seqex utilizes only analog frequencies vs digital.
